What we do

The VENTRICULAR FOUNDATION supports the dissemination of knowledge on brain development and evolution, and promotes scientific outreach to educate the public and K-12 students about the societal benefits of neurobiological research. Activities of the VENTRICULAR FOUNDATION include: • Visits to elementary schools to teach young students about the brain, with special focus on minority and low-income schools. • Fellowships for predoctoral students to attend to the Cortical Evolution Conference. • Fellowships for K-12 elementary schools to purchase materials for teaching students about the brain. • Organization of the Cortical Evolution Conference.
